As a result of the increased space and understanding, her son"s behaviour improved. "The atmosphere was completely different and that made a difference. There were teachers who believed in him and could communicate with him. He could work outside the classroom if he wanted as they were much more flexible," Jess says. "He still got excluded occasionally but we weren"t seeing the same behavioural issues."
